Moving to Evergreen Estates was just the right move for me at the right time.A short time after I moved in,my husband passed away. I will never forget the comfort and concern the amazing staff all gave me.

Now I know that there is a lot to like about living here at Evergreen. For instance, one bill for rent covers so many things and there are so many things to do.

The apartments are comfortable with a once a week housekeeping and laundry rooms to do your laundry if you choose to. Maintenance people are available if you need help or if something does not work right for you. They are among the angels here.

Nursing care is available. With the call button we wear, we can get help quickly, if we need it. Tri State Memorial Hospital and specialty clinics are right next door, too. All these things make me feel safe and grateful.

It is wonderful to have a beauty shop here in our building. The women working there get us all back in shape every so often when hair and nails are calling for help. We really appreciate the good services they provide to us.

Going to the dining room is an event we look forward to. It is a pleasure to get to sit and visit with friends and enjoy an appetizing meal together, like the BBQ we had today. They do many special things in the dining room.

Another pleasant thing to do is to take a walk around Evergreen and enjoy the various plants, blooming flowers and trees. There are two courtyards for the residents to enjoy. There are places to sit or walk a bit and a pretty waterfall to use.

The Activity Director keeps busy offering exercise classes five times a week. She has craft classes, bingo and other challenges to stir up enthusiasm and brain cells. She also drives us in the bus on a weekly sightseeing drive. One more activity is the library full of books for the bookworms.I so enjoy the availability of so many options.

I am glad I have been able to call Evergreen Estates my home this past three years. It is a place where we are all family. We appreciate all the amazing people who work here and help make our lives safer, and better, every day.
